What to expect in each part of the course

The course is delivered on-demand.

  • MODULE 1 - SUSTAINABILITY, NET ZERO & WLC

The course starts with an introduction of Sustainability and what it is. We explore the terms Net Zero, WLC, EPDs, science-based targets and contextualise what the Paris agreement has to do with proposed industry and project carbon benchmarks. The session duration is 2.5hrs.

  • MODULE 2 - CIRCULARITY

Overview of what constitutes circular design and economy and how it relates to low carbon design. Detailed exploration of the various circularity design and procurement approaches and examples of all from real life scenarios. Review of the roles and responsibilities to enable successful circularity on projects. Interactive session of exploring delegate's own opportunities for circularity in current projects. The session duration is 3hrs.

  • MODULE 3 - IN PRACTICE & PROCESSES

The course completes with a review of WLC and circularity measurement tools, practical demonstration of designing and delivering projects to WLC and circularity targets. A review of scenarios and real life examples bring to life and offer tangible examples. Workshop exploring delegates' own projects is included for better learning and immediate applications.
